Ethiopian
Airlines has taken delivery of its newest Boeing 767-300ER.
Ihssane Mounir, regional sales director for Boeing Commercial Airplanes,
commented, “It's always a proud moment for both Ethiopian Airlines and Boeing
when we see how our months of effort and cooperation culminate with the delivery of a new airplane.”
Ethiopian Airlines plays a key role in the sub-Saharan African region, where it has
established a maintenance center capable of performing all heavy checks. The
center has been certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
The airline has three additional Boeing airplanes on order: a 767-300ER and two
737-700s. |
