When hotel owners, suppliers, operators and developers attend this years
Hotel Show, 17-19 May at the Airport Expo Dubai, among the diverse products and services they will see is Aqua Massage and Loucania, both
making their Middle East market debut at the show.
Aqua Massage offers a revolutionary way to experience a traditional
massage. Clients remain fully clothed and dry throughout the treatment. By
lying in the device, similar to a tanning bed and within a waterproof acrylic
canopy that conforms to the body shape of the user, a full surface massage
is given on three sides of the body.
Thirty-six pulsating water jets can provide a relaxed two cycles per second
or an invigorating ten cycles per second. Pressure, water temperature and
pulsations can be adjusted to suit the client and a 20 minute massage with
Aqua Massage claims to be equivalent to a 60 minute traditional massage.
Another exhibitor at the Hotel Show is Loucania, producers of porcelain
articles for catering purposes. Exporting to more than 40 different companies, Loucania makes platters, dishes and bowls out of hard
porcelain that are suitable for buffet, table-top or kitchen use. The products
are designed with durable wedges and handles, enabling them to withstand
frequent handling. The size and versatility of the company means that Loucania can develop small or large ranges and can work on specific
products which are often supplied exclusively.
Dubais hospitality industry is constantly expanding, with plans to build at
least 200 luxury hotels and resorts within the next five years. The reconstruction of Iraq is also expected to present major new opportunities
for hotel developers and suppliers, while other developments underlining
the scope of Middle East hotel expansion include Bahrains $1 billion Amwaj Islands Project and Omans $300 million Al Sawadi Resort. |
