Hwee Peng Yeo starts 2004 as new Corporate Communications Manager of Starwood Hotels & Resorts

Hwee Peng Yeo has been named Corporate Communications Manager of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Asia Pacific Division.

As Corporate Communications Manager, Ms. Yeo will manage the communications function to build the image for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, its brands and hotels as well as drive the public relations strategy and coordinate promotions for the division.

Prior to this new role, Ms. Yeo was Marketing Communications Manager at The St. Regis Shanghai and she was part of the opening team of the hotel when it launched in 2001.

Ms. Yeo holds an Honors Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from National University of Singapore. A native of Singapore, Ms. Yeo speaks English, Mandarin, French and Thai. Ms. Yeo will be stationed at Starwood's Asia Pacific corporate headquarters in Singapore.
