Thai Airways Internationals Domestic Flights Go Ticketless

Thai Airways International is launching a new program 1 November, 2004, Smile with THAI Sabai with e-ticket which encourages passengers to make use of Thai's electronic ticketing system.

THAI has now expanded its e-reservation and e-ticketing services to cover all of THAIs domestic flights, which is in accordance with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) policy to eliminate paper tickets worldwide by end 2007. With this goal in mind domestic travel within Thailand will becomes completely ticketless from 1 November 2004 onwards.

THAI is also introducing a special fare promotion called Smile with THAI Sabai with e-ticket from now until 31 December 2004. Passengers are required to issue a ticket 5 days in advance and Royal Orchid Plus Members may accure mileage points accordingly. Fares during this period are (Thai Baht): 

Bangkok - Khon Kaen 1,000
Bangkok - Phitsanulok 1,100
Bangkok - Ubon Ratchathani 1,200
Bangkok - Udon Thani 1,200
Bangkok - Chiang Mai 1,500
 Bangkok- Chiang Rai 1,700
Bangkok - Nakhon Sithammarat 1,700
Bangkok - Surat Thani 1,700
Bangkok - Phuket 1,700
 Bangkok - Krabi 1,900
 Bangkok- Hat Yai 1,900
 Bangkok - Trang 1,900
