In addition the airline has also upgraded the aircraft used on this sector to an A320, which has a total seating capacity of 144 seats versus the A319, which was previously used to fly to the Russian city.

“We have also changed our flight operations from Sheremetyevo Airport to Domodedovo Airport, which will allow for easy, and more efficient access to all of our passengers,” said Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Mr. Akbar Al Baker.

“Domodedovo Airport offers a range of facilities and services such as train services that operates directly from the airport to the city, making it easy and convenient for our passengers to travel.

“The Russian people are becoming great travelers and we are keen to use this opportunity to raise awareness of Qatar Airways with both the travel industry and the Russian people,” added Mr. Al Baker.
