IECM2004, the inaugural exhibition convention and meeting industry expo,
aims to prove to be a meeting place for Asia’s MICE industry to develop
directions and a new vision so as to propel it to greater heights. Held from
22-24 September 2004, IECM2004 will fill 10,000 square metres of space at

One feature of IECM2004 is the ExpoSelectPavilion housing government
agencies and embassies from all over Asia responsible for coordinating their country’s participation in trade fairs. The pavilion provides these
agencies a platform to meet with trade fair organizers in one central meeting
place as well as an opportunity for each agency to showcase and promote their activities.
“This event is also a trade platform for suppliers of products and services
for the MICE industry to showcase their innovative solutions to a ready group of buyers. It is a convenient sourcing ground for buyers as all their
service providers are under one roof,” said Ms Dilys Yong, president,
SACEOS.
A series of events including an exhibition featuring the latest technology for
the industry, regional meetings, awards presentation, professional training
courses and golf competition will provide the estimated 5,000 attendees with numerous opportunities to be updated on industry advancements,
network and exchange ideas.
A two-day IECM2004 MICE Industry Conference will take place on 22-23
September bringing top industry players together to share their expertise on topics
of current interest. Confirmed speakers include the President of UFI, the
Global Association for Exhibition Industry. |
