Grant Major appointed General Manager - Mercure Hotel Plaza in Kalgoorlie

Grant Major has been appointed General Manager of the Mercure Hotel Plaza in Kalgoorlie, Australia. Grant has been GM at Mercure Inn Leichhardt in Rockhampton for the past two and a half years, and said he welcomes the opportunity for a change of scenery. He returns to Western Australia after past stints in Newman and Kalgoorlie over the past decade with Accor.

Grant replaces Doug Hvalgaard who has been appointed General Manager of Olims Hotel in Canberra (managed by Accor).
