Hertz appoints Martina Jennings as Airline Partnership Manager, Australia

Travel News Asia 4 February 2004

Hertz has appointed Ms. Martina Jennings as Airline Partnership Manager, Australia.

Ms. Jennings was previously National Business Development and Client Relationship Manager for corporate travel specialist MP Travel, and prior to that Account Manager, Corporate Agency Sales for the former Ansett – Air New Zealand Group in Victoria and South Australia.

Before joining Ansett, Ms. Jennings was Account Executive in Victoria and Tasmania for Concorde International Travel, having previously worked as a travel consultant in New Zealand and the UK.

Hertz Australia Region Vice President and Managing Director Mr. James Bowyer said Hertz had strong relationships with key airlines around the world, and was continually seeking ways to strengthen these links.

“The majority of our customers are also passengers on our partner airlines, and it is essential that their entire travel experience is as seamless and professional as possible,” said Mr Bowyer.

“It is also vital that our airline partners are aware of our constantly evolving product, which in Australia includes new locations and expansion of our specialist offerings including the Hertz Prestige Collection and Hertz Campervans.

“At a time when Hertz is expanding and upgrading its product offerings in Australia, the appointment of Martina Jennings enables us to focus even more closely on arrangements with key airline partners including Qantas, with whom we have a close relationship.”
