Marriott Spas rank top among Conde Naste Traveller Readers

The Mandara Spa at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa was named the "Best Hotel Spa in Asia" and ranked second among the "World's Top 25", receiving a 98 percent satisfaction rating by Condé Nast Traveller magazine readers.

During the recently-held, first annual "Readers' Spa Awards" ceremony, readers also selected The Dome Retreat of the five-star Brisbane Marriott Hotel in Australia and The Spa at Renaissance London Chancery Court among the top ten in the Urban Day Spa Overseas and U.K. categories, respectively.

Last November, magazine readers were asked to nominate their favorite spas in four categories -- Urban Day Spa, Hotel Spa, Spa Retreat, and Medical or Thermal Spas.

Each category was rated according to service, accommodations, amenities, body treatments, décor, cuisine and ambiance. The top 25 spas were ranked as the world's best.
