Qantas encourages Singapore to travel with 'Valentine's Day Gateways'

Qantas has launched a new 'Valentine's Day Getaways' promotion offering travellers from Singapore attractive fares to any of 67 choice destinations in Europe, Asia or Australia.

Fly to romantic Paris for just S$688, swinging London for S$998, or nearer home, delightful Bali for S$230. Other destinations on offer include Frankfurt at S$888, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns and the Gold Coast for S$588, Perth for S$488, Sabah for S$230 and New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington) for S$788. 

And if you are flying to London, Paris or Frankfurt, you can add another European destination for an additional S$200 roundtrip. A choice of 40 cities in Europe, as varied as Prague and Bologna, is on offer.

Passengers to Australia also have a choice of flying to 16 other domestic destinations for an additional roundtrip fare starting from S$120.

Travel is in economy class, valid on Qantas and its subsidiary, Australian Airlines and airline partner, British Airways. Passengers choosing Sydney or Melbourne can also opt to travel in greater comfort on Qantas' airline partner, British Airways, which offers premier economy class - World Traveller Plus - at a special fare of S$948. Passengers can also select to fly to London on British Airways' World Traveller Plus for S$1888. 

According to Stephen Limbrick, regional general manager for Qantas and British Airways, South East Asia, Qantas' 'Valentine's Day Getaways' offer is "our way of nudging couples to take that romantic holiday they have always dreamed of."

'Valentine's Day Getaways' fares go on offer from February 4 till February 9, 2004. The validity period for travel is from February 4 till June 30, 2004. The deadline for bookings is 5 pm on February 9 and payment must be made within 48 hours of booking. Terms and conditions apply.
