Second Holiday Inn in Singapore

InterContinental Hotels Group is to add a second Holiday Inn hotel in Singapore to its portfolio. The soon-to-be rebranded and refurbished Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore will be launched in January 2005.

InterContinental Hotels Group’s Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Mr. A. Singapore’s strong tourism performance, driven by recent initiatives to enhance the country’s appeal as a destination bodes well for the hotel industry. We are confident that the new Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore, with the incorporation of the globally renowned Holiday Inn “Can Do” Service and offerings, is well positioned to cater to both business and leisure travellers. It will also add another hotel of choice in Singapore for the 22 million members of our global loyalty programme, Priority Club Rewards.”

Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore is located at the crossroads of Havelock Road and Zion Road, next to the Great World City Shopping Centre. The hotel is just minutes away from the Singapore’s financial district in Shenton Way, Chinatown and the well-known Orchard Road shopping belt. Popular nightspots and tourist attractions are also within easy reach. The 27-storey hotel has 515 guest rooms and suites and two executive floors, equipped with wireless broadband Internet connections. Other modern facilities catering to the discerning traveller include a rooftop swimming pool, tennis courts, a business centre, spacious meeting rooms and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 people. The hotel also offers several food and beverage options, including a Chinese restaurant serving authentic Cantonese specialities, a café for casual dining as well as a lobby lounge for live entertainment and drinks.
