Leong Wai Leng appointed Chief Executive Officer of Raffles International

Raffles International has appointed Ms Leong Wai Leng as Chief Executive Officer of Raffles International Limited with effect from 1 October 2004.

Ms Leong, who is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Raffles Holdings Limited and the Executive Director of Raffles International, has over the last three years lead the various corporate departments within the Group. In the past year and a half, she has also been actively involved in the operational aspects of the business. In her appointment as CEO of Raffles International, Ms Leong will continue to work with Ms Jennie Chua, who continues in her position as Chairman of Raffles International and President and CEO of Raffles Holdings.

Ms Chua said, “I am very pleased with the appointment of Wai Leng as CEO of Raffles International. Wai Leng has a strong grasp and good understanding of the group’s business, and this is indeed an opportune time to recognise her contributions to the company and to better define her role.”
