Meal service on Finnair scheduled flights in Europe
is to be renewed on May 5.
Breakfasts in Business Class will be more varied and substantial, and hot meals
will be provided in Economy Class on all flights of more than two hours. The
airline said that the changes are being made with the aim of achieving the status of Europe's best
in-flight meal service in 2005.
The emphasis in Business Class has been on improving the breakfast offering. On
flights lasting at least two hours, breakfast menus will be distributed to Business
Class passengers, and the meals themselves will be more ample than before.
There will be a wider choice of juices, for instance, and a variety of fresh, warm
bread and cinnamon buns. Hot breakfasts will also be reintroduced in Business
Class on flights to Oslo, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, and Moscow. Business Class
lunch and dinner menus are also being revised during May.
All meals in Economy Class on flights of at least two hours will also be hot meals.
On shorter flights to Scandinavia and Moscow, drinks service will be slightly
reduced, although light alcoholic drinks, juices, soft and mineral water will still be
available. |
