Michel van der Hoeven leaves Sanctuary Resorts

Michel van der Hoeven, Regional Director of Sanctuary Resorts and one of the major shareholders of Sanctuary Resorts (Thailand) has announced his departure from Hong Kong based management company Sanctuary Resorts while for the time being retaining his share in Sanctuary Resorts (Thailand).

As of 15 July 2004, Michel will be appointed as Vice President Project Development for Royal Garden Resorts PLC in Thailand, where he will be assisting in the growth of the company in Thailand and the rest of Asia.

Sanctuary Resorts (Thailand) will, until further announcement continue to manage Hotel de la Paix in Siem Reap, Cambodia as well as the 18 room boutique resort and vocational training centre Shinta Mani in Siem Reap. Until further notice, Andrew Jones will, as Guardian of Sanctuary Resorts HK, be responsible for the management of Sanctuary Resorts' The Racha and La Flora in Thailand.
