Le Méridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa Resort, the latest Thailand paradise
getaway from Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts, is to officially open its doors to
guests on 1 June, 2004.
The resort
features a complete offering of five-star accommodation, services and hi-tech
facilities. Its 13,056-sqm layout, exclusively designed as the pre-eminent
destination for eco-tourism, features 243 bedrooms, ten 80-sqm Lagoon Villas and
15 Pool Villas.

Le Méridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa Resort features two main wings of seven,
inter-connected low-rise buildings, constructed in a horseshoe shape around
swimming pools and both facing the ocean.
Its luxury villas are one of the resort’s main highlights. Pool villas, which are
located on the white-sand beachfront, features private gardens and a 25-sqm
private pool, a Jacuzzi, and an open-air relaxation Sala. Lagoon and Pool Villas
also incorporate a spacious bathroom with 2 wash basins, 2-person bathtub, and a
private outdoor overhead rain shower within the mini garden. The villas are also
equipped with 42” Plasma TVs and wireless broadband Internet connections.
Le Spa will set a new standard in luxury spa treatments. Its lush tropical indoor
and outdoor landscaping features eight private and self-contained 110 sqm villas
all for treatments. Each villa has covered Salas as well as sunken bathtubs or
jacuzzis. The Spa also offers a 25 m swimming pool and a garden pool bar.
The variety of restaurants and bars at Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa
Resort emphasize outdoor dining to highlight the resort’s beautiful natural setting
