Air
India has become the first major carrier in India to implement Abacus SalesManager Marketing Messages
solution.
Abacus' SalesManager Marketing Messages is a solution specially designed to
streamline communication between airlines and travel agents. This powerful tool
enables airlines, their affiliate hotel companies, car rental companies and other
travel suppliers to communicate directly with travel agencies during the booking
process.
Several major Asia-Pacifica airlines,
including Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and Philippine Airlines are already
enjoying the competitive edge offered by Abacus SalesManager Marketing Messages.
Air India, India's national carrier, has rolled out the solution in China, Hong Kong,
Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

customised routes and tickets when a travel agent checks for flight availability. By
doing so, we are able to influence the decision of the traveller at the time of
