Oliver Bonke has been named Vice President, Sales & Marketing for
Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Asia Pacific Division. In this position, Oliver will
lead the sales and marketing organization in Asia Pacific, overseeing global
sales, brand marketing, revenue management, distribution marketing and customer contact center functions of Asia Pacific division.
Oliver has demonstrated excellent sales and marketing leadership as Chief
Marketing Officer for Starwood's ArabellaSheraton group of hotels in Europe over the past three years. His exceptional strengths in sales and
marketing operations, product development and creating revenue focused marketing initiatives as well as his extensive experience with major
business and leisure operators and marketing partners around the world, make him an excellent choice to lead Starwood's Sales and Marketing
division in Asia Pacific.
Prior to this new role, Oliver was Managing Director and Chief Marketing
Officer of ArabellaSheraton Joint Venture between Starwood and Schorghuber Group in Europe. He has been with Starwood (ITT Sheraton)
since 1989 and has progressed his career through a number of sales &
marketing assignments, including Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton
Key West, Florida, Vice President, Sales & Product Development for The
Luxury Collection based in White Plains and Director of Sales & Marketing
of the ArabellaSheraton Joint Venture based in Munich, Germany.
Fluent in English and German, Oliver has a BA in Business Administration
and Sociology from Loyola University in New Orleans. Oliver will be based
at the Starwood Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. |
