International Air Charter plc, one of the world's largest independent aircraft
charter brokers, is to participate for the first time at the International
Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), being held in Cannes, South of France.
The aircraft charter broker, who specialises in the provision of executive
and VIP aircraft, will be participating along with several of the world's
most prestigious luxury service providers. The event is being held between
December 6 and 9, 2004 and will bring nearly 700 VIP buyers as hosted visitors
from over 52 countries.
Commenting on their participation, Hugh Courtenay, Chief Executive of International
Air Charter stated, "Luxury Travel is an industry in its own right representing the elite 3 per cent of travellers who account for 20 per
cent of total annual travel expenditure and who are immune to economic slowdown. The idea behind participating at a niche show like ILTM is to
promote our VIP private aircraft charter service to senior buyers from the luxury leisure, corporate business and incentive markets."
"ILTM is a unique event, bringing together the most important players in
the luxury segment and presents an ideal opportunity for IAC Middle East
and Europe to meet buyers of this specialised travel segment. The show gives us the opportunity to present
our company's bespoke VIP service to potential clients in a relaxed and informal environment," he added.
Private air charter services are most in demand among corporate travellers
who need to travel quickly from one location to another. Aircraft charter
offers the distinct advantages of privacy and unbeatable flexibility, allowing
travellers to move at their own pace, without the inconvenience of waiting
for connecting flights or danger of delays. International Air Charter also
offers clients a meet and assist service to escort them through otherwise
time consuming procedures via private terminals and undergo customs checks
with no queues. Clients are assured unobtrusive personalized service and
complete privacy to conduct a private discussion or even a board meeting.
"The luxury market is a highly specialized and lucrative market that demands
more than just conventional marketing. ILTM will give us visibility in the European luxury travel market and help us strengthen our client base,"
said Elie Abdo, Director of Business Development, International Air Charter.
International Air Charter
can provide some of the world's most luxurious aircraft, including wide-bodied jets such as the Challenger, Gulfstream
and Falcon series and long-range aircraft such as the VIP Boeing Business Jet. These aircraft possess the latest in
communications technology and offer a selection of interior configurations, some featuring conference
lounges, dining rooms and bedrooms, to provide a luxurious experience akin
to a five star hotel.
