fares management and distribution solution.
The new release of Abacus FareX incorporates additional features that enhance
the updating and distribution efficiency of net fare information for airlines and
wholesalers and provide more robust search and pricing options for travel agents.
To keep critical fares information flowing, enhanced update tools are now
available for airlines and wholesalers to automate and distribute their net fares to
multiple channels in real-time. Abacus FareX allows airlines and wholesalers to file
and validate complex fare and rule conditions for net fares, corporate fares and
discount off published fares, while providing the efficiencies of an easy
adjustment function to manage different fare levels and "smart" tools to reduce
filing efforts.
With the support of over 200 airline sales offices in Asia Pacific, Abacus provides
one of the most comprehensive net fare contents in the region. To help travel agents meet
increasing customer demands for the best fares, Abacus FareX boasts advanced
low fare search tools that make the job of locating the best fares more convenient
and fuss-free in the face of such vast choice. Travel agents now have access to
low fare options for alternate airlines and booking classes with seat inventory to
facilitate easy fare comparison; and uses an intelligent search logic that allows
travel agents to customize searches according to customer preferences.
Travel agents can also show itinerary options to their customers more easily
through a display function that shows both applicable and available flight options
with the fares. Travel agents are also assured of 100 per cent accuracy with no
Airline Debit Memos when auto-pricing any complex itineraries.
