Millennium and Copthorne International
has appointed John Roozemond as General Manager of M Hotel Singapore.
At the helm of
the stylish, 416-room M Hotel Singapore, Mr Roozemond will be
responsible for the overall business performance of the property located in
the heart of Singapore's Central Business District.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Roozemond had on two earlier occasions
worked in Singapore, first in the early 70s at the Mandarin Singapore as
Executive Assistant Manager and later in the early 90s at the Pan Pacific
Hotel Singapore as General Manager (from where he then subsequently assumed position as Regional Vice-President & General Manager of Pan
Pacific Hotels & Resorts based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
Mr Roozemond's illustrious career boasts many years at senior
management level having worked with many hotel establishments and hotel groups in his near 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
A truly global hotelier, he has worked in Europe and the United Kingdom,
Canada and Asia, with establishments that include the Crowne Plaza Hotel
Bangkok, Swiss-Garden International Hotels & Resorts, Glenmarie Hotels &
Resorts in Malaysia, the Venice Simplon - Orient Express Ltd, the Hotel Ritz
in Paris, numerous Sheraton Hotels in Copenhagen, Dubai, Abu Dhabi; the Century Park Sheraton Hotel in Manila, the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in
Montreal and the Grosvenor House in London.
