Valuair, a new budget airline which plans to launch daily Perth-Singapore flights from Wednesday, 1 December, has appointed
World Aviation Systems as General Sales Agent for all passenger sales in Australia and New Zealand.
Perth will be the first Australian destination for Singapore-based Valuair, which was launched in May this year and currently flies
Airbus A320 twinjets to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Jakarta. The new flights from WA will connect in Singapore with onward
services to the other cities.
“Valuair will offer a range of low air fares between Perth and Singapore, and will announce details closer to the commencement
of services,” said Melvyn Almeida, General Manager of World Aviation Systems.
“But unlike most other budget carriers, Valuair also will include light meals, coffee and tea, audio and video entertainment and a
free baggage allowance of up to 20 kilograms per person,” said Mr Almeida.
“Valuair
will also offer comfortable leather seats and a spacious 34 inch seat pitch in its new Airbus aircraft, which will seat 150
passengers in an all-Economy Class cabin.”
Subject to Government approval, Valuair flight VF101 will depart Perth at 11.55pm, arriving in Singapore at 5.35am – a flight time
of five hours, 40 minutes. The return service, flight VF102, will leave Singapore at 5.40pm and arrive in Perth at 11.15pm.
