New General Manager for Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi

Walter Hall has been appointed general manager of the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi.

Hall, who has spent 8 of his 16 years in the hospitality industry with InterContinental Hotels Group, was previously resident manager and later hotel manager at the Crowne Plaza Dubai.

Having graduated from Shannon College of Hotel Management with a first class honours degree, Hall began his career in 1987 at Forte Grand Abu Dhabi. He joined InterContinental Hotels Group as director of sales and marketing for the Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi before moving to the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi as pre-opening director of sales and marketing.

In 1996 Hall moved to InterContinental Hotels Group area office in Dubai after being appointed director of development, Middle East & Africa.
