Bangkok
Airways launched its first flights to Shenzhen, China, Wednesday, and
plans to start direct flights from Bangkok to the Maldives in
October.
The three-weekly service to Shenzhen
is operated with a 125-seat Boeing 717-200. Flights depart Bangkok at
07:00 arriving in Shezhen at 10:30 with the return leg departing Shezhen
at 11:20 arriving in Bangkok at 13:00. The three-weekly service
operates, Wednesday's, Friday's and Sunday's. For the Maldives, Bangkok Airways will become the first airline to operate
a non-stop service from Bangkok. The three-weekly service, scheduled for October
31, will be only three and a half hours of flight time. All flights
will be operated with a brand new 162-seat Airbus A320. Flights are
scheduled for Monday's, Wednesday's and Sunday's departing Bangkok at
19:00 with a 21:00 arrival in the Maldives, the return leg leaves at
22:30 arriving in Bangkok at 04:50. To celebrate the
launch of these new destinations Bangkok Airways has introduced special offers as
follows:
Bangkok-Shenzhen
When
two return tickets to Shenzhen are purchased, passengers will receive 2 free
nights accommodation and complimentary airport transfers, with daily breakfast at the Best
Western Shenzhen Felicity Hotel. This special promotion is 9,900 Baht/ person (twin sharing),
excludes insurance, fuel surcharge, visa and airport taxes and certain
conditions apply. The offer is valid from September 22 through to December
31, 2004.
Bangkok-Maldives
From October
31 through to December 22, 2004 Bangkok Airways and Fah Thai Tour are
offering a variety of Maldives packages. The package start from 27,370
Baht and include return air tickets, full board meals, airport and speedboat
transfer, Maldives airport tax, insurance and Fuel surcharge. |
