The Evian Spa opened its doors on 5th March
at Three on the Bund, Shanghai's premier lifestyle destination, in a celebration that attracted
government dignitaries, celebrities, business leaders and socialites.
The "for women only" Evian Spa, located on the second and third levels of
Three on the Bund, is the only "Evian Spa" outside France. Spa guests are
welcomed by a dramatic 35-metre high atrium entry before proceeding to the
inner sanctum where they can enjoy a comprehensive range of holistic and
beauty treatments that create a memorable rejuvenation of body and soul.
Spa Director, Marie Harrison says: "Our mission is impeccable care and
personal service, using world renowned products. We create a experience at
Evian Spa that is a haven for the body and spirit."
A wide range of health and beauty treatments is offered, many of which
have not been available in Shanghai before, such as the "Digi-Esthetique"
massage method from Evian Spa in France, which increases circulation and
dramatically improves the appearance of the skin.
For gentlemen, there is Barbers by Three - a comfortable salon where men
can relax and enjoy superb service and personalized pampering. Treatments are
taken in private rooms, each equipped with a chic black leather barber's
chair, a television and a CD/DVD player.
They include shaves, haircuts and colouring, facials, ear candling,
manicures, and traditional Shanghainese pedicures, as well as neck and shoulder rubs. Gentlemen can also enjoy a selection of malt whiskies, fine
wines or freshly brewed coffee and other refreshments during their treatment.
"The concept of Three on the Bund is to offer our guests an opportunity to
experience a stimulating and vibrant convergence of elegance, sophistication, exuberance and style," says Handel Lee, co-chairman of
House of Three. "Shanghai is rapidly gaining status as the most exciting
city in Asia and we're pleased to be part of that phenomenon."
"We are very proud to have the Evian Spa under the roof of Three on the
Bund, creating a wonderful sanctuary for women in Shanghai in search of relaxation, rejuvenation, serenity, holistic healing and the finest in
beauty care. We also feel Barbers by Three offers a unique service for our
male customers."
Mr Frank Riboud, Chairman and CEO of Groupe Danone, which owns the
Evian brand, said: "The Evian Spa Shanghai aligns perfectly with our Evian
brand values and will continue to make our water even more desirable in China.
Evian Spa will definitely be the flagship location for the Evian brand." |
