KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
is to launch scheduled services between Amsterdam and the Georgian capital Tbilisi on June 15, 2004.
The roundtrip services will be
operated thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, with Boeing 737-900 equipment. This aircraft seats around 180 passengers in
KLM's two-class configuration.
Georgia is a republic in the Caucasus, with a population of 5.2 million. The
country has recently undergone constructive political and economic development, fueling demand for transport to and from this market, which will
now be linked to KLM and partners' global network via Schiphol. |
