Hotel Dynamics appoints new Managing Director

Hospitality services company Hotel Dynamics has appointed Simon Fraser as its new Managing Director to be based at its regional headquarters in Singapore.

Hotel Dynamics, founded in 1987, specialises in the design, evaluation, implementation and management of tailored marketing programmes for the hospitality industry. Hotel Dynamics has contracts with over 200 prominent hotels, representing large international chains and independents such as Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts and Marriott.

Simon will lead Hotel Dynamics’ expansion in Asia, the Middle East and India. Prior to this appointment, Simon, who joined RCI in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer, was responsible for the financial management of RCI’s European business. Before this role, he spent seven years in the hotel industry as Finance Director at Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts where he had financial responsibility for 125 hotels in more than 55 countries. His previous experience included a position as Finance Director for a subsidiary of Granada Group Plc, a major quoted UK company. Simon’s excellent grounding in the financial aspects of business coupled with his extensive experience in the hotel industry make him the ideal champion for Hotel Dynamics’ growing business.

Simon is a chartered accountant by training and spent his early years with Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Simon is married with two children, and will relocate from the UK to Singapore in April 2004.
