China Southern Airlines
has commenced operating a new service between Nanchang and Singapore.
Operating every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Nanchang, China Southern
Airlines will operate this service with a Boeing 757 aircraft which makes one stop
in Guangzhou before continuing on to Singapore.
The new route is the ever first
international air service for China’s Jiangxi Province. CZ353/354 departs from
Nanchang at 16:20, arriving at Guangzhou at 17:40 and reaching Singapore at
23:05. The Singapore service departs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at
8:35a.m., arriving at Guangzhou at 12:30 and continuing on to Nanchang at 15:20.
Jiangxi Governor Mr. Huang Zhiquan
said, “Singapore is one of the world’s crossroads. The launch of this Nanchang-Singapore service has not only tapped a brand new
route towards Southeast Asia, but also built up a platform for Jiangxi to step
forward into the world. The newly launched service will further enhance Jiangxi’s
accessibility to the international business and leisure community as well as
shortening the distance between Jiangxi and the International marketplace.”
He added that the launch of Nanchang - Singapore international service and the
renaming of Changbei International Airport sets a historical breakthrough in
Jiangxi’s aviation industry.
China Southern Airlines Vice-President Mr. Xu Jiebo said during a press interview
that, “China Southern Airlines is honored to launch the first international service
for Jiangxi Province. This not only meets the demands of Jiangxi in opening-up to
the global community and expediting its economic development but is great
opportunity for China Southern to serve the local economy and solidify its market
