SRS-WORLDHOTELS
has brought its seamless next generation connectivity technological to two of its private label clients: Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts
(GDS code “PF”) and Stamford Hotels and Resorts (GDS code “YS”).
Pan Pacific currently encompasses 18 hotels, including 15 managed properties
and three marketing affiliates in Asia, the Pacific and North America, while
Stamford is one of the largest and fastest growing owners and operators of
exclusive luxury hotels in Australasia.
Among the significant benefits Seamless Next Generation offers the Pan Pacific
and Stamford brands is the opportunity it affords them to market their entire rate
range.
With the new technology, online bookings for Pan Pacific and Stamford hotels
bypass the GDS databases and directly access SRS-WORLDHOTELS' own central reservations system, TRUST Voyager. This greatly speeds and simplifies
the booking process, allowing consumers and the travel trade to access live
availability, rates and inventory information. It also eliminates any possibility of
rate discrepancies between TRUST and the GDS.
In 2003, a major upgrade to TRUST prepared SRS-WORLDHOTELS to go live with
the Seamless Next Generation products of all four major GDSs as they became
available - Worldspan's Integrated Source, Amadeus' Dynamic Access, Galileo's
Inside Shopper and Sabre's DC Shop.
A
global provider of technology for the hospitality industry, TRUST provides
real-time distribution solutions via all channels -- GDSs, call centers and the
Internet. The web-based system allows member hotels better opportunities to
distribute more information and greater levels of room inventory, availability and
rates to travel agents and other customers in a far faster and more time- and
cost-efficient manner.
Internet-based capabilities and functionalities are further enhanced by an
easy-to-operate yield management functionality that is built into the TRUST
Voyager system. |
