SWISS responds to continued fuel price rises

With the price of oil reaching record highs on the world markets, SWISS, inline with most other International airlines, is to further increase its fares on flights from Switzerland. A further CHF 7 will be added in each direction to all tickets to European destinations from September 1 onwards, and intercontinental tickets will be subject to a CHF 20 surcharge in each direction from the same date.

SWISS previously increased all its fares from Switzerland by 3% with effect from May 20, 2004.
