Rob McDonald has been appointed as marketing manager for Qantas and British
Airways, South East Asia.
Based in Singapore, Rob took up his new position on Monday 17 May 2004 and is
responsible for the marketing activities for Qantas, British Airways and Australian
Airlines in the South East Asia region.
He will report to Stephen Limbrick, regional general manager South East Asia for
Qantas and British Airways. Rob replaces Vanessa Arundale who has moved to
Sydney to take up the position of brand and marketing communications manager
for British Airways in Asia Pacific.
Before moving to Singapore, Rob handled Marketing activities for British Airways
in North and East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
An experienced marketer, Rob has also developed loyalty programmes for British
Airways in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and Africa. Prior to
this, Rob ran marketing campaigns for Aspen Resorts, Colorado USA.
