Silvia Sitou receives PATA Face of the Future Award

PATA today bestowed the PATA Face of the Future award upon Ms. Silvia Sitou, during the opening session of the 53rd PATA Annual Conference on Jeju.

To be deserving of the PATA Face of the Future honour, a PATA Young Tourism Professional (YTP) member has to excel in his or her career and demonstrate leadership and active involvement in PATA and the PATA chapter network.

Ms. Sitou is Head of the Research and Planning Department at the Macau Government Tourist Office. She has also thrown herself wholeheartedly into the activities of PATA through her participation in and contribution to the organisation of PATA events, her active involvement in the PATA Macau Chapter, her co-ordination of the PATA Task Force to Macau and her stalwart support of the YTP Programme.

The PATA YTP Membership programme is open to anyone no older than 35 years, who is an employee of a PATA-member organisation or a student of a PATA-member educational institution.
