Details of Dubai Summer Surprises 2004 announced

Travel News Asia 19 March 2004

Saeed Al Nabouda, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Summer Surprises today announced the outlines of the events planned for this year's event.

Al Nabouda promised to provide the best, most colourful and beautiful events and activities in the history of DSS. "The UAE has always taken special care to ensure that these offerings during DSS are of the highest quality and most appealing to its youngest residents and visitors, and under the theme 'Big Fun for Little Ones', DSS was born of the need to fill children's summer vacations with unmatched fun and learning," he said.

"DSS 2004 is all set to commence on the 17th of June 2004 and go on until 27th August 2004. There will be ten theme weeks, or 'Surprises', and these include five that were introduced in 2003, and are back with improvements. The Organising Committee of Dubai Summer Surprises 2004 has enlisted different Government departments to present a theme week each, and this will go a long way in incorporating  different ideas from different officials and volunteers during the different theme weeks," Al Nabouda added.

The ten weeks start June 17th with Art Surprises, followed by Ice Surprises, Sweet Surprises, Cartoon Surprises, Flower Surprises, Heritage Surprises, Adventure Surprises, Knowledge Surprises, Back-2-School Surprises and finally ending in spectacular fashion with Colour Surprises.
