Blessed with warm weather (an average of 26 degrees Celsius throughout the
year) the French-governed South Pacific island group of Tahiti offers abundant
resources for tourism. Approximately 24,000 Japanese visit the islands annually.
In commemoration of the new partnership, the two airlines will join forces in the
Japanese market through a series of joint promotional activities. These
promotional activities will focus on presenting the attractions of Tahiti in the
Japanese marketplace to stimulate tourist demand to the South pacific destination.
