US Airways announces Shuttle walk-up Fare Special

US Airways announced today that customers booking last minute travel now can fly for as little as $110 each way between New York-LaGuardia and both Boston and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Walk-up fares between Boston and Reagan National are $140 each way. These special walk-up one-way fares are available for travel through Dec. 31, 2004.

All fares are capacity-controlled and subject to availability. Seats are limited and are not available on some flights at peak times.

"Unlike some carriers, we believe these fares should be made readily available to all Shuttle customers and through all distribution channels, rather than only through select travel agencies," said Andrew P. Nocella, US Airways vice president of network and revenue management. "Paired with the convenience and reliability of our Shuttle, these fares make US Airways the natural choice for last-minute travel in the East Coast business corridor."

The US Airways Shuttle is the only Shuttle to offer hourly departures every business day between New York LaGuardia, Boston and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports, with 16 roundtrips between LaGuardia and Boston, 15 roundtrips between LaGuardia and Reagan National, and 14 roundtrips between Boston and Reagan National.
