JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa has launched an innovative new electronic service for customers with its new Personal
Vacation Planner Website – www.jwmarriottphuket.com.
The website was developed with a dual purpose. Firstly to tell its guests about the wide range of things to do both in the resort
and in Phuket, and secondly to enable them to plan their vacation in advance so once they check it they don’t have to spend
valuable vacation time studying options and making bookings.
The website enables guests with confirmed reservations at the Hotel and Vacation Club to book spa treatments, restaurants,
golf, activities and sightseeing tours. Confirmations for each booking are then emailed to the guest so they have a personal
vacation itinerary in their hands before leaving home.
“It’s a personal virtual concierge service,” said Craig S. Smith, General Manager.
“It gives guests more time to truly relax and enjoy their vacation rather than wait until they arrive and then have to research the available options and book
them.”
It is planned that the service will also be introduced to other Marriott International properties in Asia as well as the company’s
resorts in Hawaii.
