Singapore Airline's (SIA) First Class passengers will get to savour more
treats when they step into the airline's exclusive Silver Kris Lounge at
Terminal 2 of the Singapore Changi Airport.
The
airline today launched a Renowned Restaurants of Singapore Showcase that features gourmet delights from some of the
most celebrated restaurants in Singapore, for a limited period in selected months.
The multi-award winning Wah Lok Restaurant, from
the Carlton Hotel Singapore, will be the first featured restaurant, showcasing a
selection of its famous dim sum in October.
In November, customers can look forward to tasting Pan Pacific Singapore's
superb Cantonese cuisine, from Hai Tien Lo, with dishes like Sliced Chicken
Roll with Chinese Wine and Poached Shanghainese dumplings.
Rang Mahal,
a fine dining Indian restaurant, greets 2005 in January with its celebrated dishes, such as Mint
& Potato Potli, Mamali Seekh (smoked lamb kebabs), and Murg Lababdar (tender chicken
tikka).
Also from October, SIA's First Class passengers will enjoy the comfort of
more space and new facilities at the First Class Lounge.
Newly renovated, the luxurious and elegant lounge will be able to seat over
170 customers, an increase of nearly 50 percent.
First Class customers can also look forward to the brand new Business
Center. With eight Internet-ready PCs (up from four) and 14 Ethernet ports
(up from six), more customers will be able to work efficiently while waiting to board
their flights.
SIA's Silver Kris Lounge is an integral part of the airline's total premium
travel experience. The Silver Kris Lounge has a combined seating capacity
of around 700 in its First and Raffles (Business) class sections, and also
boasts first rate facilities like food and beverage counters, an
entertainment room, a meeting room, and shower facilities.
