World Aviation Systems has announced the appointment of former Qantas
executive Mr Terry Davies as National Marketing Manager, based in Sydney.
Effective from 26 July, Mr Davies will be responsible for promoting the large group
of client airlines represented by World Aviation Systems in Australia and New
Zealand.
In his 17 years with Qantas, Mr Davies occupied a range of management roles,
most recently as Manager Pacific and Tasman routes.
In this role, he was influential in developing Qantas operations into South America,
initially via Buenos Aires and more recently Santiago.
Prior to this position, Mr Davies served in a range of roles including pricing,
revenue and yield management, sales and interline relationships.
Mr Davies joined the aviation industry in 1975 working with the International Air
Transport Association (IATA) based in Geneva, and held a number of senior
positions, primarily linked to the tariff coordination. |
