The Finnair Group subsidiary and Swedish low-cost airline flynordic is planning to launch new routes next spring. The plan is to
open routes from Stockholm to Dublin, Berlin, Munich and Tallinn in March 2005. Additional route plans include launches from
Gothenburg to Munich and Copenhagen to Tallinn.
"We have established our position in the Scandinavian travel market. Our concept is working very well and now is the time to
launch new destinations outside Scandinavia," flynordic President Maunu von Lüders says after the first year of operations.
flynordic already offers connections from Stockholm to Gothenburg, Luleå and Umeå as well as Copenhagen and Oslo.
flynordic is developing its service concept in cooperation with hotel booking services, travel insurance companies, car
rental companies and taxi services, among others. As a part of its service expansion, flynordic will open a new web shop on November
17, 2004 at www.flynordic.com.
"The web shop is one of the cornerstones of the low-cost airline concept. Our goal is not only to answer our customers'
expectations but to surpass them. I am convinced that our expanded and improved service concept will please our current and
new customers," von Lüders said.
