Gulf Air has
appointed Mohammed Al Tajer to the newly created role of Manager Marketing Services.
A national of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Al Tajer is a marketing professional with a wealth of experience in consumer
goods and services industries and has spent the past ten years in senior roles with multinational companies based in
Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Germany.
His most recent appointment was as Regional Marketing Manager Europe South, Middle East, Africa, UK and India with the
Global Wrigley Company based in Munich, Germany.
"The dynamics of the market change constantly and demand a marketing strategy that evolves to meet the changing
requirements," said Shane O'Hare, Head of Marketing at Gufl Air. "Mohammed's strong local knowledge coupled with
considerable international experience will play a vital role in meeting these challenges as we move forward to achieve our
objective to be a commercially viable world class airline."
Mr. Al Tajer will oversee the critically important marketing communications, brand development and marketing research
and strategy functions in the marketing department reporting to the undersigned. |
