The
South Australian Tourism Commission recently opened a new office in Hong
Kong.
The opening of its new Hong Kong office to service
both Hong Kong and China represents a “new direction for the SATC", said Chairman, Phil Hoffman. The move marks
SATC’s bid to become Australia’s “premier tourist destination” for the Chinese
market. The SATC is predicting the boom in Chinese holidaymakers as its “most
lucrative, emerging international tourism market of the decade”.
Heading the new SATC office in Hong Kong at the Australian Tourism
Commission in Central Plaza, Wanchai is newly-appointed marketing manager for
China and Hong Kong, Anna Cheung.
Ms
Cheung previously worked for Air New Zealand, Dragonair and Cathay Pacific. |
