Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort creates internal fire brigade

In an attempt to ensure guest and staff safety Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort has formed its own fire brigade. The internal fire brigade comprises of forty employees (volunteers) who all underwent a series of training programs in fire fighting conducted by trainers from the Civil Defence. The programme is designed to teach the hotel employees how to effectively and safely control any fires that may occur on the hotel premises while waiting for official Civil Defence personnel to arrive

Recently the brigade were awarded certificates by Patrick Antaki, general manager, at a special graduation ceremony held at the hotel.

Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is located on the East Coast of the UAE on a two kilometre sand beach, nestled between the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean.
