Resort Condominiums International
(RCI), a global provider of products and services to the timeshare industry, will be moving its regional
headquarters to new and bigger premises at the prestigious PWC Building on
Cross Street, Singapore.
Since it started regional operations in
Singapore, RCI has grown its membership
from a modest 15,000, which was primarily based in Malaysia and Korea, to 65,000
in nine markets today. The number of affiliate resorts has also seen phenomenal
growth from 32 in 1992 to 132 today.
"Since we established our regional headquarters in Singapore in 1992, we have
enjoyed excellent growth because of the conducive business environment here,
access to the latest technology and the highly-trained workforce. This move to
new and bigger premises marks the continued success that RCI has enjoyed in
the region, " said Raju Shahani, President and General Manager, Asia and Middle
East, RCI.
Part of its expansion plan is to house other related travel services companies
under RCI's parent company, the Cendant Group, under one roof.
RCI's new home boasts improved facilities to enhance customer
service. Besides the aesthetic improvements in the office, RCI's call centre will be
upgraded with state-of-the-art technology that will reduce call waiting-time to
ensure speedier responses to member queries. |
