Unveiling of new rooms at The Leela Kempinski Mumbai

Travel News Asia 10 November 2004

Captain Krishnan Nair, Chairman of The Leela Group, unveiled the newly renovated Superior Deluxe rooms at The Leela Kempinski Mumbai earlier this month. The Superior Deluxe rooms are part of the first phase of The Leela Kempinski’s renovation programme.

The new rooms exude a rich, contemporary feel with particular attention to detail, offering such luxurious amenities as plasma television screens and shower rooms with natural daylight and massage showers. Extra large desks with discreetly hidden laptop access points ensure the discerning business traveller is also at home.

The Leela Kempinski is aiming to reinforce its position as a leading luxury business hotel in Mumbai with this renovation programme, which brings an elegant and luxurious look to its interiors. The renovation encompasses Citrus, the all day dining restaurant, Jamavar, the signature Indian restaurant, Orchid Lounge and Six Degrees, the vibrant new bar, which have already attracted many admirers.

Commenting on the renovation programme, Kempinski’s President, Peter Leitgeb, said “With the strategic investment in renovations, we will further enhance our hotels' appeal by creating a dynamic new look. The innovative designs will strengthen The Leela’s reputation for offering luxurious accommodation that truly reflects The Essence of India."
