Dragonair is again lending its support to the Hong Kong Red Cross in its
efforts to help victims of flooding in China.
Over 500 kgs of urgent medical supplies worth HK$430,800 are being
transported free-of-charge by Dragonair from Hong Kong to Henan province,
one of the areas worst hit by the flooding.
Dragonair last month delivered clothing for the Hong Kong Red Cross
free-of-charge to Chengdu.
"We are delighted to be able to lend our assistance to the Hong Kong Red
Cross in this way" said Laura Crampton, Assistant General Manager Corporate Communication of Dragonair. "We hope that by playing our part as
a responsible corporate citizen, we can help improve the lives of those who
have been affected by the flooding. We salute the work of the Red Cross and
wish them well in their endeavours". |
