From February 1st, Japan Airlines begins a new five times weekly service between Fukuoka and Shanghai, following an air-service agreement between Japan and China reached last
September.
Passengers from Kyushu, southernmost of the four main islands of Japan, far western Honshu and Fukuoka airport users will find the new flight a major convenience.
The JAL Group, including JAL and Japan Air System (JAS) has the most extensive route network between China and Japan, currently connecting five cities in Japan and 10 cities in China and operating 353 scheduled frequencies in a week (one-way basis, including code share flights).
JAL Group carriers fly to China from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and
Naha, Okinawa. Chinese cities served are: Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Xiamen (Amoy), Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian, Kumming, Xian and Guangzhou. |
