Air Alps, the regional airline based in Innsbruck, will initiate a new scheduled service between the Swiss capital Bern and Amsterdam on March 30, 2003. Dornier 328-110 aircraft, offering space for 31 passengers, will be used to operate three roundtrip flights during the week, one on Saturdays and two on Sundays.
The flights operated by Air Alps will connect seamlessly via Amsterdam
Airport Schiphol to the worldwide network operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and its partners. Along with Innsbruck, Salzburg and Linz, Bern will be
the fourth destination linking Air Alps to Schiphol.
Air Alps and KLM codeshare on services that connect to the KLM network, making it possible for Flying Dutchman members to earn & burn points on these flights too. |
