The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC)
has officially released a supplement to promote the Dubai International Convention Centre at the ongoing
Arabian Travel Market that is currently taking place at the Airport Expo (6th
to 9th May).
The DICC brochure has been produced by Nicholas Publishing International
(NPI) - a specialist publisher for meetings, incentives, conventions and
exhibitions (MICE) based in Dubai. The company is responsible for publishing MICE International and MICE guides for more than 10 countries
across the Middle East and Asia.
"The DICC represents the coherent succession of DWTC's business
interests and is designed to provide further momentum to Dubai's growth as
an emerging destination for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector," said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad
after officially releasing the supplement in the presence of NPI's Publisher,
Rob Nicholas.
"We are pleased to join hands with the DWTC in producing this supplement
that showcases one of the most outstanding convention centres of the future," said Mr. Nicholas. "The making of the DICC
forms the cornerstone of the strategy to identify and tap into the economic potential of the
international rotational meetings industry."
Mr. Nicholas observed that 10,000 copies of the brochure would be
distributed alongside MICE International to the magazine's unique readership of international meeting, incentive, convention and exhibition
planners, spread throughout the Middle East and Europe.
The DICC brochure was launched at ATM, the region's most important travel
trade exhibition with a focus on the MICE industry through its hosted buyer
programme.
Further exposure will also be gained later in the month at EIBTM (Geneva),
which is the world's premier exhibition for incentives, business travel and
meetings. MICE International will be exhibiting at both events and will have
copies of the DICC brochure available for meeting and convention planners.
"As an international publisher specialising in the MICE sector, we have seen
convention facilities across the world and the DICC clearly ranks among the
best," concluded Mr. Nicholas. |
