The St. Regis Shanghai Introduces MICE Butlers For Clients

Travel News Asia 6 May 2003

From now on, The St. Regis Shanghai is one of the few hotels in Shanghai to offer guests MICE Butlers who will be the primary contact person for every meeting. MICE Butlers will be assigned for every event in every meeting room in the hotel. They will coordinate all meeting requirements and ensure the successful implementation of the meeting they are in charge of.

" Many meeting participants have commented that they frequently are not able to receive assistance as and when they need it because of the lack of an assigned associate who can help coordinate their needs with different departments in the hotel for them. With the MICE Butler, guests can be assured they will be given the attentive care typical of a St. Regis", commented Charles Abbott, General Manager of The St. Regis Shanghai.

The MICE Butlers can also act as cyber troubleshooters, assisting guests with any computer glitches. Guests at The St. Regis Shanghai can enjoy wireless broadband internet access in all meeting spaces.

Each meeting space at The St. Regis Shanghai is dedicated to an individual meeting with no partitions, providing guests with privacy. The hotel also offers exclusive breakout rooms and modern facilities including wireless high-speed internet connection. Every St. Regis meeting room also offers a unique entrée into a world of understated - but unmistakable- elegance.
