Qatar Airways is planning to showcase a number of planned new
destinations at Arabian Travel Market 2003, the 10th edition of the Middle
East’s biggest tourism show, which will be held in Dubai next month.
"The stand has been specifically designed to highlight our plans to fly to
Russia and China in the not too distant future," said Akbar Al Baker, Chief
Executive Officer, Qatar Airways.
"The Arabian Travel Market is the region's most important event for the
travel and tourism industry. Participation is essential to better inform travel
trade professionals from within the Middle East and further afield and also to
build awareness among the travelling public."
The Qatar Airways stand at Arabian Travel Market will also highlight
activities at Qatar Duty Free, a subsidiary of the Qatari airline.
Al Baker will lead a Qatar Airways’ delegation to the show, which will be held
at the Airport Expo Dubai from May 6-9. The delegation will also include Ali Al
Rais, Qatar Airways’ Regional Manager Arabian Peninsula, Iran and the CIS,
and Krishna Kumari, Assistant General Manager, Qatar Duty Free. |
