Accor
is to manage the newly opened Natural Ville serviced apartments in Bangkok, bringing the total number of serviced
apartments managed by the group in Southeast Asia to six.
Natural Ville is a 27-storey property with 150 units featuring a unique
luxurious and contemporary design. It offers seven room plans, ranging from
31sqm to 146sqm in size. Designs include studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom
and three-bedroom apartments equipped with state-of-the-art entertainment
systems and fully equipped modern kitchens. Common facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and Bangkok’s first trendy Parisian-style
café in Thailand.
Natural Ville is one of the few buildings in the area with panoramic views
of Bangkok’s Lumpini Park, and is close to the Chidlom Skytrain Station and
soon-to-open Bangkok underground.
Accor Managing Director, Michael Issenberg, said the project should prove
popular with the increasing number of expatriates looking for quality housing
in Bangkok and with high-income earning Thais.
“Natural Ville combines a prime location in the city centre with outstanding
design and facilities. Accor believes it can add value to the project with
our experience managing serviced apartments around Asia.”
Natural Park President and Chief Executive Officer, Sermsin Samalapa, said:
“The serviced apartment market for Bangkok’s Central Business District is
growing rapidly and will provide worthwhile returns to owners in the long
term. We are confident that Natural Ville will receive the same response
from high-end tenants as Natural Park Apartment on Sukhumvit Road, which has
enjoyed high occupancy since its launch in 1989.”
According to research conducted by Jones Lang LaSalle this year, Bangkok
has shown the highest percentage change in rental and capital property value
among cities in Asia Pacific as compared to the same period last year. The
number of serviced apartments in Bangkok increased by 6.5 per cent during
2002. |
